Brother Saming is 68 years old, and has been a Christian for twenty years and a member of the Paratong Church of the Nazarene. He attended the Centennial Celebration.  From his church, only he and his pastor where able to travel because the other members had no money for fare. Here is a brief interview with Bro. Saming about how God has worked in his life.

3-Day Centennial Blast for Luzon District

We walked to the back in sweltering heat.  Five gigantic tents that can accommodate half a thousand people loomed up beside the district parsonage.  To our left hung numerous pictures of the church activities in the district. On our right were people cutting vegetables, meat, and ingredients for dishes, just like you see anywhere in the Philippines when they are preparing a sumptuous festival in the barrio.

Luzon District reports 17 new starts

The Luzon District, Philippines reported that a large number of new starts have begun this year. The district assembly, on January 25, heard from 17 different new starts. Some had just begun while others were worshiping now on a regular basis. There was excitement and joy all during the assembly as the district and local churches turn their attention to reaching lost people through church planting. (more…)
